With all of the talk of “Revival and Reformation” I want to highlight on my blog some significant revivals from Adventist history. The following quote, presumably by Uriah Smith, appeared in the Review and Herald in the 1870s. It gives a glimpse into how the early Seventh-day Adventist pioneers felt about revival and reformation:
Signs of a True Revival–
1st. The filling up of the seats in the prayer-meeting by the heads of families.
